Q1: What is missing from your current job? Why are you motivated to make a move?

A: I am currently unemployed as M+W Shanghai could not secure projects due to poor economic conditions in China and was forced to layoff personnel

Q2: Describe your “ideal” next position. What do you most want to do in your next position?

A: Technical challenges, opportunity to train/ coach less experienced engineers, increase efficiency, save cost

Q3: What is your current compensation and how is it structured? (Salary, bonus, incentives, etc)

A: Due the extremely high cost of living in Shanghai M+W provides housing/ travel/ hardship allowances and health care (totaling 50 K USD/yr) on top of annual bonus (20 K) and base salary( 150 K)

Q4: What are your expected earnings?

A: competitive depending on package and location (cost of living)

Q5: Why is this particular position of interest to you?

A: Location (TX), close to chemical industry hub, low cost of living, opportunity to use my technical experience and managerial abilities

Q6: If relocation is involved, describe your geographic preferences, and logistically what would be involved in relocation for you.

A: I can relocate anywhere. All my belongings are ready for shipment.

Q7: What do you consider to be your strengths/weaknesses?

A: Strengths: attention to detail, innovative, vast experience in all aspects of process engineering (plant operations/ troubleshooting, process development/ technology licensing, process design, …) covering petrochemicals, refinery, specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals and polymers

A: Yes
