Are you or someone you know looking for the opportunity of a lifetime, and more importantly, make a difference? Want to work in a diverse, challenging and stimulating environment in Africa? (And yeah, it does come with the side benefits of a life-changing and unique experience that makes for some pretty great stories.)
If yes, tell them to apply to be an EWB Fellow!
What kind of person are you looking for?
YOU. Engaged, caring and passionate individuals from all educational backgrounds who are looking to be a part of something bigger than themselves. The fellowship placements are diverse, so you need not be an engineer to apply!
This sounds awesome! But wait, what is it?
The EWB Fellowship is a 12-month overseas placement with one of our high-impact ventures or teams in Ghana, Uganda, Kenya or Malawi that includes:
A three-week pre-departure leadership training program in Toronto
An orientation program upon arrival in placement country
Professional development retreats organized by EWB (typically held in July and November)
Comprehensive health, safety, and wellness support (including health insurance)
Direct management and coaching from ventures
Access to an international network of change-agents
EWB Fellows work with ventures to gain access to incomparable experiences, unrivalled personal and professional development, and the opportunity to create real-world, positive change. In return, ventures leverage Fellows’ skills to grow and serve large communities, reach their potential as businesses, and achieve their target missions.
Apply now to be an EWB Fellow! Applications close July 23.
EWB Fellowships are open to Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents
